Finland’s Egokills’ release the brand new music video for their latest single “Hollow Promises”

“At the darkest moment, life can feel like a prison you’ve built for yourself. It’s a web of lies and hollow promises – the kind of promises you know you can’t keep”, says drummer Vilho Rajala.

The song is at the metal edge of Egokills’ upcoming second album, scheduled to be released in2018. It opens with a thunderous riff, builds up to another peak of energy and then breaks down to an ominous verse. The chorus is a touching, beautiful cry for hope. The stunning music video portrays a symbolic storyline along with the band performing. It isdirected by Markus Nieminen & Marko Möttönen from Routafilmi and Voionmaan opisto.

“The video is really cool! We didn’t have to worry about anything, just play our asses off and the fantastic people from Routafilmi & Voionmaan opisto took care of the rest”, Rajala says.

“Hollow Promises” first ever live performance will be streamed from Ottopoika, Kuopio, Finland, 25.11.2017. Please follow the bands social media for more information!

The previous single “Nibiru” by the Finnish metal hippies came out in September. The upcoming second album by Egokills is produced, recorded & mixed by Miitri Aaltonen (Kotiteollisuus, Mokoma, Stam1na) and mastered by Anssi Kippo (Ensiferum, Children of Bodom) at Astia-studio, Lappeenranta, Finland.
